Siargao

Siargao is a teardrop shaped island in the Philippine Sea in the province of Surigao del Norte.

It is known as one of the best surfing spots of the Philippines and in the world! You will enjoy watching the seasoned surfers tearing up the bigger waves out at Cloud 9 and in Pacifico. You can also get started by taking surf lessons with local instructors. Only 500pesos for 1 hour. The waves are perfect for both pros and amateurs !

There are different places to explore in Siargao Island – and the best way to go around? If you are an adventurer, by bike or motorcycle! But there are also private tours by vans or jeepneys!

Be adventurous and do cliff jumps, swings, and diving. There are differents natural pools like “Magpungko Rock Pools and Tangyaban Cave Pools”.

You can do a boat-trip and go for an Island Hopping tour to the Naked Island, Guyam Island and Daku Island ,which includes pick-up, drop-off and a seafood lunch. You can take the opportunity to explore Sohoton 2 hours from these islands; discover the luminous cave, jump off a small cliff and enjoy the green nature.

Stop by to the only waterfall in Siargao “Tak tak Falls” , it is a full day adventure to the north part of Island, you can do cliff jumping.three jumping and exploration to the top of the falls were the highlights of the adventure.

And also we have the perfect sunsets spots in Siargao that you can see the beautiful beach and the sun.

Finally, since the release of the local Filipino film Siargao, the island has become very popular and welcomes many travelers and partygoers from all around the world! Many tourists compare General Luna’s main street to Bali because of its restaurants of all kinds: Italian, European, Filipino, BBQ, vegan, and dancing bars. You be the judge!

Best time to travel?

The peak tourist season for Siargao, based on weather, is between March and October as this is the dry season. For surfing, the best period is all year without exceptions and in September you can attend the international surfing competition!
